Girl-talk-Girl Russia Project Coordinator
Elvira belongs to the Center for Youth Studies, and is a lecturer in sociology at the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg. Her interests include youth culture, issues of drug use, body, gender studies, discourse analysis. She also organizes photo exhibitions and photo contexts. She is inspired by passion and professionalism, and is interested in learning, particularly in understanding new things. She feels happier if her own knowledge can help others. Elvira feels the Girl-talk-Girl project, which helps amplify girls’ voices, is incredibly valuable as it makes the world more open and sensitive. She also loves being part of such a great team. In her spare time she creates collages, engage in performance, and enjoys reading, films and modern art.
